Digitization 101: Writers Settle Tasini Case for $18 Million
I'm still looking for something that tells me the database publishers are actually going to go back and add the content they took out. All of them? So far, what I've seen is just inference. Previous discussions with news librarians led me to believe that the articles and their indexing had been completely incised from the commercial databases, not just masked or whathaveyou. I set up a Google Alert--will let you know if I get anything!
